Rain Sign Diminishes this Week; Masses to Witness Sunny Days

September 19
12:07 2014

summer delhiNew Delhi, Friday, September 19 – No signs of rain is seen during the week despite the fact that weathermen anticipated soothing atmosphere. Weekend might be partly cloudy. People seemed a bit frustrated to see sunny days in the month of September, wherein rain is assumed to lash various parts of the country for more than a few times.

Post witnessing good showers in the first week of this month, inhabitants predicated weather to be pleasant afterward as well. However, they were left with no option but to keenly stare at the sky and pray for downpour given that capital met inadequate rainfall this year. Monsoon arrived a bit late and it occasionally rained in the Delhi and National Capital Regions.

Delhiites are known for enjoying at the fullest even in less facilities. Several popular spots of this metro city are generally thronged by visitors during the weekend.  During the peak summers, people did not hesitate to spend memorable time with family & friends and capture beauty of India Gate, Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, Akshardham etc. in their camera. But by the time, hopes regarding good showers started getting weaker with each passing day, their interest to visit these places began to go down. This is perhaps the reason why only a few groups, which usually have college students, are seen at historical places these days. Families prefer to stay indoors as much as possible and go out late in the evening.

Problem for general public, especially those having just fans at their residence, is not going to be less at least for some time from now in view of the fact that they are likely to wake up to sunlit mornings. Temperature will be a tad up as compared to the previous week. As per latest reports, maximum temperature in the city will fluctuate between 33 degree Celsius and 35 degree Celsius, whereas maximum temperature will remain in the range of 24 and 26 degree Celsius. Precipitation is likely to gain foothold by the end of this month or early October, which is also anticipated to be comparatively hotter than the earlier years.

On Friday, September 19, 31 percent of humidity will remain that would certainly be annoying office goers, college students and schools kids. Intensity of heat would give the feel as if it is penetrating the deepest layer of the skin. Same sort of climatic conditions are supposed to last for some more time. Instant relief from warm weather is not apparent as of now.
